Continuing Education Requirements

Massage therapy license requirements vary from state to state and the laws are constantly changing. It is our current understanding that Oregon requires massage therapists to complete 25 CE hours every 2 years for license renewal.

Of the 25 hours, 8 CE hours must be completed in a live classroom setting, this includes your 4 CE hours in ethics. You must take the 1 hour online Pain Management Module provided by the Oregon Pain Management Commission at least once by your next required CE reporting.

You must complete at least 1 CE hour of cultural competency approved by the Oregon Health Authority every other renewal.
