Continuing Education Requirements

Massage therapy license requirements vary from state to state, and the laws are constantly changing. It's our current understanding that, in South Dakota, 8 massage therapy continuing education credits are required every 2 years for professional license renewal. However, only 4 of the 8 credits can be obtained through our home study programs.

It is our understanding that the South Dakota Board of Massage will accept our programs to fulfill the 4 home study continuing education credits because we are approved by the NCBTMB as a continuing education Approved Provider (#049478-00). The only exception would be programs on animal massage, which the Board will not accept.

You may also use our credits for other organizations you belong to such as the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) or Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
